Marissa and Juliana went out for drinks together, and ordered the same thing. Juliana was parched and sculled five in the time it took Marissa to finish one.
The drinks were poisoned, but only Marissa died.

Their drinks had poisoned ice in them and Juliana drank hers so quickly the ice did not have a chance to melt. The ice in Marissa's drink melted while she sipped it slowly and was poisoned.
