Hayden is manipulated into becoming the Grim Reaper’s apprentice, and needs to learn to control his new powers. He faces many deaths learning to reap, but has bigger problems; as his father is the sheriff leading the case that could ruin them both. The mafia is also interested in Hayden, and is constantly interfering to test his limits. As the apprentice faces these issues, the Grim Reaper adds an ultimatum. Hayden needs to lose his soul, or his life. Can he save himself before it’s too late?
