I will start by explaining that I am very organised with my money and have five or six different accounts that I've labelled for specific things, such as holidays, emergency funds, and bills.
Now, as I've grown older, much like everyone else, I've had to fill in plenty of forms. Some of them just require my name, the date, and a signature; but others have been more complex, requesting things like my license or passport numbers, as well as bank account details.
I'm usually asked for my card details, particularly when making online accounts and purchases; but occasionally the government, real estates, etc. require me to fill out my bank account details, too.
I am quite adept at filling out forms and can easily locate the information I need; but on the off chance that I've accidentally made a mistake, online forms will highlight what I've done wrong and fix it. Throughout my life, my only mistakes have generally been missing a question, filling out an important number with the spaces when the system doesn't want it, and occasionally putting something in the wrong spot.
Anyway, earlier this year, I was filling out an important form that required my account details, and I had gone through and double checked to see that it was done perfectly. It was, so I submitted it... But rather than accepting my form, the fatal error warning appeared, and I wondered what I had done wrong this time. Apparently my name didn't match somewhere, so I scrolled through the form to spot my mistake.
When I found it, all I could do was face palm, shake my head, and cackle because of how stupid I had been all these years; because there, in the bank account section I had completely misinterpreted one of the prompts... There, under "Account Name", I had literally put the name of my account, instead of the account owner's name!
Mind you, this was the first time any form had picked up this mistake, so I've been completely oblivious for ages!
So all these years, I've been filling "Account Name" as "Spendings", instead of my own name! How am I even going to reach adult-adult level, if it has taken me this long to figure out something as simple as that?! hahahaha!

Hahaha!! So funny!
